The weather is generally the warmest during these months, the days are significantly longer, and sunshine is most abundant. However, the downside is that you have to deal with bigger crowds. Also, even though it is summer, that doesn’t mean it won’t rain!

I completely agree that Inverness castle should be refurbished as a tourist attraction. It is a lovely castle with a very imposing view from the opposite bank of the River Ness. However, I do not think that Inverness is a “nothing” town. There are actually quite a few attractions in Inverness, including the castle itself. I think that Inverness would benefit greatly from a refurbished castle, as it would bring in more tourists and boost the economy.
