Crater Lake is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is a caldera, or a collapsed volcano, and is the deepest lake in the United States. The lake is so clear that the bottom is visible from the surface. The lake is surrounded by cliffs, and there are several hiking trails that lead to different viewpoints.

There are a few things that you must do when you visit Crater Lake. Firstly, you must take a look at the lake itself. It is simply stunning and is definitely worth the visit. Secondly, you must take a walk around the rim of the lake. This is a great way to take in the sights and sounds of the lake. Finally, you must take a boat ride on the lake. This is a great way to relax and enjoy the views.

What to do in Crater Lake in a day?

There are so many amazing things to do in Crater Lake National Park, but if you only have a day or two, I recommend focusing on the top five things to do: Drive the entire Rim Drive loop, Hike the Cleetwood Cove Trail, Take a boat tour on Crater Lake, Hike the Watchman Peak Trail, and see the Crater Lake Lodge and stop at the Rim Village Visitor Center. All of these activities will give you a great overview of the park and its many features.

The Rim Drive is a great place to take in the views of Crater Lake. There are 30 different overlooks to choose from, so you can find the perfect spot to take photos or just enjoy the scenery. If you’re interested in camping or fishing, you can plan ahead and get a permit from the park service. And don’t forget to look up at the night sky – the stargazing is incredible!
