The loch is 22 miles long and 722 feet deep, making it the second largest Scottish loch by surface area and the largest by volume. Although there have been many sightings of the Monster, no scientific evidence has been found to support its existence.<\/p>\n

Due to the depth of the Loch Ness, it is advised that you avoid swimming in it. The surface might warm slightly, but it is a lot colder below. This can put you at risk of cold water shock, or hypothermia.<\/p>\n
