In order to show its appreciation for those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, Crater Lake National Park offers discounts on park admission to veterans. To receive the discount, veterans simply need to present a valid military ID when they purchase their admission ticket. This discount is just one of the many ways that Crater Lake National Park shows its support for the men and women who have served our country.

There is no specific answer to this question since each business may offer different discounts to veterans. However, it is generally safe to assume that businesses in the area around Crater Lake National Park (including Crater Lake) would be willing to offer some type of discount to veterans.

How can I get into Crater Lake for free?

Visitors to Crater Lake National Park are required to pay an entrance fee. However, the fee is waived on certain days, such as Martin Luther King, Jr Day and the first day of National Park Week.

This is great news for Veterans and active members of the US armed forces! Now you can enjoy free entry to Grand Canyon National Park and most other federal recreation sites. Simply present your current US military ID at the entrance to receive your free Military pass. There is not a pass specifically for Veterans, but this is a great benefit nonetheless. Enjoy your free access to some of America’s most beautiful natural wonders!
